Have you ever had ideas that tumble around in your brain, but refuse to allow themselves to be translated onto screen, paper, what-have-you? That's where things have been with me for about a year. TONS of ideas, but that little spark inside of me that will LET me do something with them hasn't been around lately. It's pesky. I always thought of a "muse" as a bullshit excuse by people who didn't WANT to write. Lately, I've been realizing that's not so much the case. Trying to figure out how to appease a psuedo-imaginary concept like creativity isn't easy.

I just wish it wasn't this hard.

People say to just keep writing and use what you get. That's fine for the people that works for. I'm not like that, I'm a perfectionist who can't use anything unless it's absolutely the way I think it needs to be.

This is not a good compulsion for a writer to have.
